What's it all about?
After millions of years of human evolution, and thousands of years of the development of human society, humans had settled on the idea that in-person interactions through fun, face-to-face social activities were the best way to meet new people.
As a single woman in my mid-50’s, I tried the online dating scene after the breakup of a long term relationship - and to be brief - it was not for me, but what I found was very little else available anywhere for someone like me who works hard and likes the nice things in life, a good laugh and that feeling that people understand me. I have many friends but the ones that are local are in relationships and when we get together they only want to do it in our own houses and not go out!! - they and my family do not understand what it is really like to be happy but lonely:
The online dating industry has completely transformed a fundamental aspect of human communication, changing how we meet new people and go looking for partners
My online events and as many communal meetings as I can organise for myself and my groups will be ongoing. Obviously when we go 'posh glamping', dinners with a difference, murder mystery evenings, 80s throwbacks etc etc then we will all have to pay - but my promise is to get the best price - but it may cost that little bit more as when I deliver an event - it will have an added value and quirkiness that so many other events lack.
